If you play Axie Infinity on your Macbook, you may have been facing trouble trying to launch the game lately. We have come across several reports regarding loading and queuing issues. Many users have also reported black and blue screens while trying to launch the game. They can, however, hear in-game sounds. The black or the blue screen bug was only reported by MacOS users till now. Although it is tempting to try and debug the issue yourself, none of the fixes seem to be 100 percent working. Moreover, the developers haven’t yet acknowledged the problem. So, there are no official fixes.

As per reports, the users owning older Macbook versions are the only victims. Most reports suggest that the black screen or blue screen is appearing on Macbooks of earlier generations or Macbooks featuring 32-bit processors. This may be a reason why users are unable to play Axie Infinity. However, we also tend to see issues like these in video games like Axie Inifinity when the servers are down. However, since the black/blue screen bug seems to be affecting only the MacOS, it may be a different kind of bug which the developers need to address right away.
How to fix it?
Here are two unofficial fixes you can try to get rid of the black/blue screen issue:
1) Play Axie Infinity in full-screen mode only: Reports suggest that the black/blue screen bug has been appearing for players who were playing the game in windowed mode. Windowed modes can trigger performance issues and may also be the reason behind the black/blue screen issue in Axie Infinity. Click on the green button on the top-left corner to go full-screen.
2) Re-install Mavis Hub: Uninstall Mavis Hub from the programs list. Shut down your computer and let it rest for a while (5 minutes). Switch on your computer, download Mavis Hub, and re-install it.
