Unable to get killstreaks in Call of Duty Warzone? In most Call of Duty games, killstreaks are usually associated with rewards/support tools players receive upon killing enemies in a row. However, the rules aren’t the same for Warzone, which is basically a spin-off in the series. If you are unable to buy killstreaks or pick them up from the loot boxes, this article is for you!
Call of Duty Warzone is a free-to-play shooter of the battle royale genre. Now, being a part of the COD franchise will obviously bring popularity. The free-to-play feature is an added benefit for some. Warzone recently underwent an integration with Call of Duty Vanguard, leading to the addition of a lot of new content. A year back, Warzone was integrated with Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, which led to similar content addition like new weapons, maps, modes, and more. However, many believe that focusing on ‘just Warzone’ would have been better for Warzone’s future than such integrations.

How to fix Call of Duty Warzone killstreaks not working?
In Call of Duty Warzone, you can buy killstreaks from buy stations or find them as loot. And only a few killstreaks are available in Warzone. They are – UAV (Drone), Cluster Strike, Precision Air Strike, Combat Bow, War Machine, and Deathmachine. Note that you cannot purchase UAVs from buy stations in Warzone’s Vanguard modes – this change was made effective in Season 2. Also, Combat Bow, War Machine, and Deathmachine can only be found in loot boxes. The ‘killstreaks not working’ issue in Call of Duty Warzone is most probably a bug. Now, it could be a minor one too. Most minor bugs or glitches of the same nature can be fixed with a simple restart of the game and the system. So, power off your PC or console and restart it. Now, launch the game and check whether the issue persists. If restarting doesn’t work, make sure that you have updated Warzone to the latest available version. Such bugs are usually addressed by developers via patches. So, it’s important to install those updates to avoid running into bugs like the one affecting killstreaks in Warzone.
Other workarounds include:
1) Try using a different controller.
2) Killstreaks may not be buyable or obtainable if you have got the Specialist Bonus.
Still unable to buy or get killstreaks? Unfortunately, these are the only workarounds available for ‘killstreaks not working’ in Warzone.
