Wait
As reported by players, the game is not well optimized, which is why it might be taking so long to load. So, consider waiting a few extra minutes to check if it does eventually. If not, then try the next workaround.
Press Continue
If you are trying to load into your save only to find the game getting stuck on the loading screen, consider clicking on the Continue button instead of Load, as suggested by Steam user Bearded Wonder. They were able to bypass this bug by simply pressing the Continue button to load into their latest save.
