Dying Light 2 offers a lot of powerful upgrades quite early in the game. They make you stronger much faster and provide a lot of conveniences. Dying Light 2 Upgrades
To get these you need crates which usually are placed in quarantine zones and anomaly places. Quarantine zones are feasible to do in the night since they will spawn way less infected inside the anomaly.

You also need to get some resources to upgrade the glider later in the form of a military tag that only drops from airdrops.
