The survival war game, Escape From Tarkov is constantly growing in terms of popularity. However, in a multiplayer online game like EFT, bugs are bound to exist. Especially if it contains launchers and multiple log-ins. One of the most reported errors of Escape from Tarkove happens to be the 214 error. The error is mainly caused either due by the incorrect implementation of the reCaptcha process. Many users tend to see the procedure as not so important and complete it in an immaterial way.

To fix the error, you need to make sure you complete the process properly (which involves selecting similar images from a set of pictures until the bot is satisfied). Sometimes the Recaptcha button is not visible and is hidden behind the login button. Simply refresh the page or reduce the font size to see it. Another issue could be the usage of an ad blocker. Turn off the adblocker and try refreshing the page. If you are still unable to find it, click on email/login text and keep hitting the tab button. This will trigger unable to sign in the message. Multiple Escape From Tarkov log-ins
Another problem could be you trying to log in through another computer. This creates an ambiguity for the launcher and it disconnects. you from logging in. To fix this, you can delete the game from the old computer which might fix the problem.
Reinstall Launcher
Sometimes reinstalling the launcher might also fix this error. Simply go to the control panel, apps, and games, find the launcher and uninstall it. Then go to the official website and download it again. This might solve the Escape from Tarkov 214 error.
Delete saved data
Another fix is to go to C drive, then to Users. Further, navigate to the AppData folder. If it is not visible then click on show hidden folders and you will be able to see it. Then click on Local, Battlestate Games. You will find the Bsg launcher folder in it. Open it and delete the files present in them. Doing so will delete previous credentials details. Don’t delete any other folder under the Battlestate Games folder as this may lead to deletion of your progress in the game.
If that didn’t work out, head to Roaming in the AppData folder and open the Battlestate Games folder. Redo the same process by going to the bsg launcher folder and deleting all its contents.
Reinstall Escape From Tarkov
One of the last options is to reinstall the complete game. To do so, go to the Add or remove apps settings and find Escape from Tarkov in the list. Click on it and then select Uninstall. Then go to the official website and download it again.
