The Givelify app makes donating easier but sometimes users complain about the Givelify app not working. Users who are unable to use the Givelify app are naturally unable to make donations as well. If you too are experiencing problems using the app, check out the following workarounds that we are sure will help you fix the problem.
Fixing the Givelify app not working app using simple workarounds and solutions that anyone can try
.) Close the app and try reopening it. Open the “recently used” apps column and remove the Givelify app from there as well. Now, reopen the app.
.) Make sure that your internet connection speed is fine. Ensure that your device has a proper network as well. Switch to another sim if you have a cellular data connection in your dual sim phone or connect to a Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot. If you are already using Wi-Fi then disconnect your device and reconnect it.
.) Clear the app cache and app data from your device if the Givelify app not working problem persists.
.) Go to Play Store if you have an Android device and App Store if you are using an iPhone or an iPad. Tap “Update” and download the latest app updates to fix this problem. However, sometimes, app updates may not be available. Users will see “Installed” or/and “Uninstall” instead of “Update”. In this case, follow the next stage.
.)Uninstall the app from your device and reinstall it. Go to Play Store or App Store depending on the device you are using. Tap “Uninstall” and remove the app. Now go to the Store again and tap “Install” after searching the app.
.) Ensure that you are using the latest software on your device. Smartphones and tablets, iPhones and iPads require regular software updates for working properly and efficiently. Using old or obsolete device versions can cause problems with some or all device features such as some apps as well. Usually, your device notifies you when a device update is available. So check for updates and update your device to the latest version.
.) Now restart your device. When all else fails, restarting mostly works. “Power Off” or switch off your device and turn it on again. Now use the app again.
.) In case the Givelify app not working problem persists, there are chances that it is a server-related problem and not a device-related issue. In this case, most users won’t be able to use the app for some time. Check with customer support about the server problem and if they agree the servers might indeed be down, wait for some time.
