Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha version will be available for all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners from August 27 at 10 AM PT to August 29 at 10 AM PT. You will not have to pre-order the game to participate in the Alpha version. This is the first chance users will get to play the game two months before its release.

Call of Duty Vanguard seems to be connected to all the major titles of the Call of Duty franchise. The game will be running in full integration with Call of Duty Warzone. It will feature an ever-expanding zombie universe mode which is a crossover universe connecting the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies storyline. Lastly, a 2 v 2 Gunfight mode will also be present, taking inspiration from Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Call of Duty Vanguard will be included in the World War Series of Call of Duty franchise, as it will be featuring a World War II situation. Vanguard is all set to give you goosebumps with its realistic backdrop and war experiences. The game is developed by Sledgehammer Games and will be released in November this year for all major platforms.

Call of Duty Vanguard: Storage Required and Download Size
Call of Duty Vanguard is going to be a heavy game. In other words, the game will need quite a lot of space on your system. The game is loaded with new Multiplayer and Zombie maps, new game modes, new battle pass, graphics enhancements, and also includes cross-save. A lot of extra resources will have to be downloaded in-game to provide a better user experience. Hence, the game will be requiring several extra GBs on your console and PC storage. According to officials, downloading the entire Call of Duty Vanguard, including in-game resource packages and ultimate versions, will require around 270 GB of space on your storage. We can safely assume that the Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha version in PS4 will be of the same download size as PS5 i.e., 20.376 GB. The alpha version of the game is varying in size for different regions.

Xbox One and X|S Series
There is no alpha version for the Xbox owners as yet. However, the game’s page on Microsoft Store listed the game’s size as approximately 75 GB. Then again, the Microsoft Store for the France region had listed the size to be approximately 95 GB. So, it appears that the game size is not the same for all regions.

No official information on the download size for the Call of Duty Vanguard PC version is out yet. But gathering from the console information, we can expect almost the same download size for PC.
