If you are into horror games and like the eerie environment that they feature, you must have given Indigo Park Chapter 1 a try. Released recently on May 18, 2024, it has been developed and published by UniqueGeese. Well, the initial reception of the game has been a huge success as seen from the Overwhelming positive reviews on Steam. The gameplay is fun, but as you already know, with every new game comes a new bug to haunt. This time it is none other than the most common Textures not working bug. If you are encountering the same issue in Indigo Park, consider reading this guide for workarounds on how you can fix the issue for good.
Bugs and issues are quite common in games, irrespective of whether they are from an AAA studio or an indie one. Some of the most common bugs and issues that modern games are riddled with are crashing, freezing, black screens, and, of course, annoying textures not loading. The textures not loading bug restricts the game’s textures to be loaded, due to which the player experience takes a huge hit. Well, the same is the case for players trying Indigo Park. Anyway, in this guide, we have listed some workarounds for you to try. So, check them out and let us know whether they worked.

Indigo Park Chapter 1 Textures Not Working: Is there any fix yet
Well, the majority of the player base is encountering this bug, as evident from various reports on the game’s Steam Discussion forum. Fortunately, the developers have responded on this matter, stating the following:
We are actively trying to find a fix for this. Not sure what’s causing it. We’ll be getting a patch out asap.
Thanks.
So, it is clear that the developers are indeed working to fix the issue, but an ETA on when a patch will be released has not been announced. That said, until a patch is released, here are some workarounds worth trying:
1) Exit the intro area
As stated by various players, the texture not loading issue is limited to the intro area of the game only. So, what you need to do is get past the intro area and then continue progressing. Eventually, the textures will load after a while.
2) Set Resolution to max and Display mode to Windowed
As stated by this player, you can try setting the in-game Resolution Scale to 100% instead of the 50% default. Once done, check if the issue persists. If it does, switch the Display Mode from Full Screen to Windowed and try again. This fixed the issue for a player, so we suggest you give it a try as well.
3) Restart
A very useful workaround is to just restart the game once you encounter issues in textures. After a restart, go to a different room, and the textures should load right up.
4) Reinstall/Wait
If all else fails, you can try reinstalling the game and then check if the textures load. If they don’t, then it is better to just wait for the developers to release a fix. Since they have acknowledged the issue, chances are a fix will be released soon.
That said, these are the workarounds worth trying to fix the textures not loading issue in Indigo Park. If you found this guide informative, consider visiting Android Gram for more such content on all things gaming.
