If you liked the game Monster Train, you should definitely give Inkbound a try. The game is developed by the same team behind Monster Train and has recently made its v1.0 debut. Inkbound was in early access for quite some time, but with the new update, Rise of the Unbound, the developers have introduced its v1.0 version. This update has brought a ton of new quest lines, bosses, balance changes, and more into the game. But that’s not all. This update also caught the attention of many new players who want to try it out. That said, one of the most demanding features during the early access period of Inkbound was the inclusion of a true offline mode. So, now that the game is released, has this feature made it to the game or is it still a distant reality? Continue reading to find out.
Inkbound is a roguelike tactical RPG that features PvE elements. In the game, you can either go solo or team up with your friends to defeat enemies and save the magical world of Atheneum. And, no, this game doesn’t offer any PvP modes where you are required to fight other players. Considering the game’s nature, players requested the developers introduce an offline mode to the game back when it was in early access. In response to that, the game developers released the beta version of the offline mode back in 2023, with some caveats, of course. Although this enabled players to run the game offline, it still wasn’t enough for many. So, have the developers done something about it?

Inkbound Offline Mode: Is it available?
Well, yes, Inkbound does have an offline mode given that it is officially released, and that too can be accessed within the game itself. You don’t need to try the Run Steam in Offline mode workaround, as the Offline option is present in the game’s main menu. So, whether you don’t have access to the Internet or are traveling, you can enjoy the Inkbound experience without needing an active Internet connection. But how do you enable it?
Enable Offline mode in Inkbound
To launch Inkbound in offline mode, first launch the game, and in the main menu, you will find the Offline option. Select it, and then restart the game. A restart is required for the game to run in offline mode. Also, note that the progress you make in the offline mode won’t sync with the online mode. So, keep this in mind. That said, the developers have shared that they are working on making the offline mode experience better in-game, so expect some changes in the near future.
Anyway, now you know all about whether Inkbound offers an offline mode. If you find this article insightful, consider visiting Android Gram for more such content.
