1) The first step is to restart your device.
2) Now, check your internet connection. You need a stable connection to play League of Legends. We recommend using an Ethernet cable.
3) Next, make sure that League of Legends servers are working. You can check the status on Riot’s website.
4) Now, go to Finder> Applications> right-click League of Legends> Show Package Contents> LoL. Now, delete the “lockfile” file in the folder. Next, click on LeagueClient to launch the game. You can also try starting the game normally.
5) For this step, reinstall League of Legends and try launching it. If the game opens, minimize it and go to the installation folder. Here, delete the Config folder. This might also resolve your issue.
