Lethal Company pulls off the first-person horror aspect really well. The immersion is insane, as players get goosebumps hearing their friends’ screams of surprise through the radio as they get their necks snapped by the moon’s fauna. So naturally, you might be wondering if there is a way to make the game even more immersive, to feel as if you are not in front of a display but right there on the moon. Well, perhaps Lethal Company in VR mode is what you seek! But, is there a VR mode release date available for the game?
VR stands for Virtual Reality, and the relatively new technology opens an entirely new realm of possibilities for games like Lethal Company that rely so heavily on atmosphere and immersion. This game in VR would certainly be a dream—probably of the nightmare variation though, given the horror elements. So, does this dream have a chance to become reality?
Lethal Company VR Mode Release Date: When will it be available?
As of right now, there is no official time frame for when Lethal Company will get a VR mode (if that will ever happen). Although there is no confirmation whether the game will ever support VR, a ray of hope still exists as fans of the game have expressed interest in the same. Considering the fact that the game is still in early access, it is obvious that the developer will have many ideas and features in mind that they want to implement, but whether or not VR is a priority is something we have to wait and find out.
Well, since VR is a comparatively new and complex technology, it will not be an easy task for the developer to implement it in their game, considering that it is a solo project. Based on this fact, we think that it is highly unlikely for a VR mode to be introduced in-game, but a VR mod is something that we are excitedly hoping for. There are already a bunch of useful mods available for Lethal Company, and the introduction of a VR mod will be the best addition to the list.
Lethal Company Full Release?
The developer did mention that they expect to finish fully developing the game within six months after its early access release. Lethal Company went live in late October as an early access title, so if the developer does indeed finish it within six months, it should be fully released by April/May 2024. However, it is important to keep in mind that even after six months, if the developer isn’t satisfied with the game, it may take longer. As for pricing, they have mentioned that they are not planning to change the price from what it is right now.
The developer also said that they are actively looking for community feedback on their Discord and Patreon and watching video playthroughs of the game. With this level of commitment to hearing out what the community thinks about the game, we have no doubt that when the game nears its official release, it will be a bug-free and elite experience.
