HBO Max app not available on LG TV Content store?
Can’t find HBO Max on the LG TV content store? It’s a case of regions, my friend. LG has started rolling out the HBO Max app in different regions a few weeks back.
If you cannot find it, you can change your region to the one that offers HBO Max already. Here’s how you can do it.
To change your LG TV region, you can follow the steps given below on your LG TV.
- Click the Settings button on the remote.
- Click on General and then, select Location.
- Then, click on LG Service Country
- Uncheck the option Set Automatically.
- Select the country you want to change the region to.
- Once selected, click Yes to confirm.
- Go ahead with the reboot and agree to the User Agreement.
If you are from the US, change the region to Mexico. The TV will restart. Then, you can download the app from the content store. Once done, change the region back to the US. The TV will restart again. However, now you will have the HBO Max app on your LG TV! You can also change your region to Brazil or some other region where HBO Max is available and follow the same tips.
