POCO smartphones have become ridiculously popular, especially in China and India. The extent of fame in India has gone up to an extent where the officials are making the initial launches in India itself. Just like many other brands, POCO has been conducting Q&A sessions via Twitter. Most brands have taken matters into hands regarding educating and spreading awareness about software, 5G, UI, and more. Talking about smartphone launches, POCO M3 is all set to hit the markets on November 24, 2020. But what’s next? Where’s POCO M4 and what can we expect? Here are all the details!
POCO M4 Features-
POCO M series is a mid-range series from the brand, unlike the F or X series. So the specs of the POCO M4 will be inclined more towards value-for-money rather than flagship features.
But the camera is always a top priority in the POCO M series. Therefore, the POCO M4 will come with a quad-camera setup at the rear end with at least 48MP as the primary sensor and with a mandatory depth sensor. The front camera is expected to be a 20MP selfie shooter.
POCO M2 came with an Helio processor but for some reason, the M3 is packing a Snapdragon 662 chipset. So POCO M4 might equip Helio G95 chipset or Snapdragon 670 chipset or an equivalent. But what’s sure is the support for the 5G network.
POCO M2 with 5000mAh battery and POCO M3 with 6000mAh battery- Though POCO M4 can definitely not cross these digits, there won’t be a step down either. So we can expect at least 5000mAh battery but what’s more important is the upgrade in fast charging features as 18W is too less for too huge a battery. So 22W – 30W fast charger out-of-the-box would be a game changer!
IPS LCD screen, plastic build, latest Gorilla glass protection- these are certain hardware features that POCO M4 will undoubtedly equip. It is officially confirmed that MIUI 13 will only be launched in the Q2 phase of 2020 (officially confirmed). As we are expecting POCO M4 slightly earlier, this device will be run by MIUI 12 operating system. We will disclose the official specs very soon.
POCO M4 Price and Availability-
The base variant of POCO M4, 64GB ROM with 6GB RAM is expected to cost $175 (Rs. 12,999). The high-end variant of this device, 128GB ROM with 8GB RAM will most likely cost $200 (Rs. 14,999).
POCO M4 will be launched/ officially announced by the end of February 2021. We can expect the official release in March 2021.
