Well, there are several ways to catch Munchlax in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, but the easiest one is to get it from the Grand Underground. This is because the other methods are very time-consuming. Although you can always try and breed a Snorlax at the daycare center to get a Munchlax egg, we would suggest that getting a Munchlax directly from the Grand Underground is the optimal process.
So, to get a Munchlax, head over to the Spacious Cave area in the Grand Underground and look for one. If you can’t find Munchlax there, simply exit the area and then enter again to reset the spawns in that area. Repeat this process until you find a Munchlax. If you have encountered a Munchlax by this method, then congrats. But, this isn’t the end. Munchlax also has a really low catch rate so it might be difficult for you to catch one with a Pokeball.
To catch a Munchlax, make sure that you have a pokemon that knows Paralyzed, Hypnosis, or sleep powder. Use any of those moves on Munchlax before throwing a Pokeball to catch it.
