Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl: How to evolve Pikachu into Raichu?
Unlike other pokemon in the game, simply leveling up Pikachu won’t be enough to evolve it into a Raichu. To evolve a Pikachu into a Raichu, first, you will need to have a Thunderstone. You can find a Thunderstone in SunyShore City. You can also find a Thunderstone in a location that can only be accessed after defeating Team Galactic and being ready to fight the eighth Gym Leader.
Assuming that you already have a Pikachu, open your Bag and select the ThunderStone. Now, the game will ask you to choose the pokemon on which you want to use the ThunderStone. Make sure that Pikachu is in your party before using the Thunderstone. After this, select Pikachu and use the Thunderstone on the pokemon to evolve it into a Raichu. After the evolution, Raichu will be able to learn a new move, Thunder punch.
