Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl: How to get/catch Elekid?
Well, to catch Elekid in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, first, you will need to have at least one gym badge, an explorer kit, and a secret base in the Grand Underground. If you don’t have an explorer kit and a secret base yet, visit our article here to know how to get one.
Assuming you have all the required items, now all you need to do is place an Electric-type statue in your secret base to increase the spawn rate of electric-type pokemon in the game. If you didn’t know, Elekid is an Electric-type Pokemon that was introduced in Gen II. Now, head over to the area named Dazzling Cave(crystal room) which can be easily found in the Grand Underground Map, and search for an Elekid. If Elekid is not found, simply head out of the area and enter again. Do this back and forth until you find an Elekid spawned in Dazzling Cave.
Note: Elekid is exclusively available in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond only. But, once you have completed the hall of fame, it will be available in both Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
