Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl: How to get & catch Gible, Lapras, & Steelix?
The three pokemon we have featured in this guide are some of the rarest in the game. This is because they are one-percenter pokemon which means that their encounter rates are very low. Well, let’s not demotivate ourselves and jump right into the details on how to catch them.
Gibble
You can get yourself a Gibble in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl before you battle the eighth gym. All you need to do is head over to the FountainSpring Cave in the Grand Underground and search for a Gibble. If it is not spawned there, enter and exit the area until you encounter one. However, there is another way to get a Gibble in PBDSP. Visit here for more details.
Steelix
Steelix is among the one percenter pokemon in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This pokemon doesn’t even show up in the Pokedex for you to look where it can be found. So, if you try to look up the habitats to see where Steelix can be found, the game will not provide you with any information. But, luckily we have the location where Steelix can be found. Steelix is located on Victory Road but the chances of encountering one are very low.
Lapras
This water-type pokemon also has a one percent rate of spawning. It can be found in Victory Road as well. Enter the area and use Rock Climb when prompted to access the lower area. Now, head towards the right of the map until you find a cave opening. Once inside, you will not be able to see anything as the area will be covered in fog. Use Defog to clear the fog and head over to the water body in that area. Use Surf and head towards the middle to encounter a Lapras.
