Niantic recently rolled out a new update for Pokemon Go with version 0.187.2. The latest version of Pokemon Go has brought some relief for Pokemon Go owners, as the latency issue with the GO Battle League has been resolved. Now, players can enjoy the PvP battles without any lags.
But one issue which has been troubling players from a long time has still not fixed. Even with the latest version of the game, Pokemon Go players are experiencing an issue with the removal of friends.

From Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7) & will stay live until Sunday, November 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. Shedinja, the Shed Pokémon, will be available as a Research Breakthrough encounter.
