You will be introduced to crafting with a mandatory story mission, “The Basics of Crafting”. As a part of the mission, you will be visiting the craftworks to learn more about crafting. You will also be using a workbench to craft a Poke Ball, as a practice example. You cannot craft any item before you complete the third mission of the campaign, as stated above. How to craft items in Pokemon Legends Arceus?
As mentioned before, you will need to have the required ingredients to start crafting an item. And to know the necessary ingredients, you will need to take a look at the item’s recipes. Looking for a list of recipes? Take a look at one here. Once you have the ingredients, here’s how you can craft items in Pokemon Legends Arceus:
1) You can use a workbench to craft items in Pokemon Legends Arceus. The first workbench you will encounter is in Craftworks of Jubilife Village. Further, you will come across workbenches in the base camps of all five regions of Hisui. You can craft just about any item with the help of a workbench.
2) Combining two materials can get you a third item. When gathering ingredients, you are basically gathering materials to create a new item. You can either farm materials or buy them sometimes using Poke dollars. Once you are at a workbench, open up the crafting menu and select the item you want to craft. Take a look at the recipe on the right and choose materials according to the quantity of items you want. Press the A key to start crafting.
3) You will obtain something called Crafting Kit in Mission Number 4, “Getting to Work on Research Tasks” of the campaign. A crafting kit will let you craft items without workbenches but only allow you to use crafting materials available in your satchel.
