It is official that the upcoming multiplayer battle arena Pokemon game, Pokemon Unite is scheduled for release in July. First, they are going to be releasing the game for Nintendo only and in September, the Android and iOS versions will be made available. Well, since the release date is approaching, the devs are revealing more information about the game. In their recent post on Twitter, they revealed a total of 4 maps for Pokemon Unite so far. However, in this article, we are going to talk about the Auroma Park map only.
Pokemon Unite: Auroma Park
The Auroma Park map features a 3v3 trainer battle arena that requires coordinated plays to score goals and win. It has a Base, a common Goal Zone, Conveyor Belts, a Legendary Pit, and a Central Area. Well, here are the details of all the sections featured on the map.
What is a Base?
A base is an area from where your match will start. Your pokemon will be respawned there after getting KO’d.
What are Goal Zones?
Goal Zones are areas where you deposit your Aeos energy to score points for your team. You can take over the opponent’s goals once you have adequate points. This map features a common goal zone that means only one goal zone is present in the whole map, so successive goals from the same team will result in more bonus points.
What is a Legendary Pit?
A Legendary Pit features a legendary pokemon to defeat and earn extra points. Once you’ve defeated the legendary pokemon, you will gain a huge number of points. In this map, the legendary pokemon Regigigas is featured in the Legendary Pit.
What is a Central Area?
The Central Area of Auroma Park features the elusive Abra. You need to defeat it before it teleports to gain massive points for your team.
Conveyor Belts
The map also features Conveyor belts that can be used to travel across Auroma Park at high speeds. Using this strategically can help fighting opponents with a surprise.
