Saints Row Reboot is the latest entry to the Saints row series. With all the players hyped to play the game, there is a prominent bug that is bothering everyone. After every cut scene in the game, the FPS gets capped at 65. The FPS is not set to 65 or is limited by the lack of necessary hardware. The game just bugs and fixes the FPS to 65 for whatever reason. This is bothering almost everyone who is currently playing this game. The devices involved do not matter as long as they meet the requirements to play the game on it.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any sure-shot fixes for the problem as of now. The game was released very recently. And not many players have caught up to the error yet. There are many players who need to know about the problem to make it catch the eye of the developers. Only then can we expect to get an official fix in the near future. But until then, here are a couple of troubleshooting steps that can fix the problem temporarily. Use them after every cut scene to fix the 65 FPS cap in Saints Row Reboot.

Fixes for FPS cap at 65 fps in Saints Row Reboot:
Refresh graphic card:
Apparently, refreshing any graphics settings fixes the 65 FPS cap in Saints Row Reboot. What could be better than refreshing your entire graphics card? If you have a Windows PC, you can refresh your graphics card easily using the following keyboard shortcut – Windows + CTRL + Shift + B. You will hear a beep and your screen will go blank for a second. When your screen is visible again, you should see improved frames. The capped FPS should also go back to normal. Utilize all the frames that your graphics card has to offer.
Turn on Vsync:
Under the general options of the game, you will find an option to enable or disable Vsync. Vsync allows users to sync the in-game frames with the refresh rate of their monitor. This results in a more synchronized performance and may help in some situations. However, if you have a good graphics card, Vsync can limit the frames you get by limiting it according to your monitor. However, turning it on temporarily can fix the 65 FPS cap that you are experiencing in Saints Row Reboot. Go into the game settings and turn on the option temporarily. Then turn it off and continue playing the game. You will see that the frames have returned to normal. But this will be effective only until the next cut scene. You can repeat this step after every cut scene to bring back the expected frame rate.
