You can produce electricity from two sources using a gas powerplant – a mud pool or a sludge pool. Choose a pool that is situated closer to your base to increase efficiency.
From Sludge Pool
To produce electricity from a sludge pool in The Riftbreaker-
1) Firstly, build two liquid pumps into a sludge pool.
2) Then, construct two gas filtering pumps and connect them to the liquid pumps using pipelines.
3) Once done, you will have to construct a gas powerplant and connect it to the gas filtering pumps using pipelines.
4) In the beginning, your gas powerplant will not be able to power the gas filtering plants. To mend this situation, you will have to build a wind turbine – this will power the filtering plants for the time being.
5) Also, you should construct an energy storage because the power output of the powerplant is not stable.
From Mud Pool
To produce electricity from a mud pool in The Riftbreaker-
1) Firstly, build a liquid pump into a mud pool.
2) Then, construct a water filtering plant and connect it to the liquid pump using pipelines.
3) Now, build two bio composters and connect them to the water filtering plant.
4) Next, build the gas powerplant and connect it to both the bio composters using pipelines.
