There have been a lot of remasters and remakes coming out in the past few years and the latest one to get the same treatment happens to be Aspyr’s Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. Released just recently on February 14, 2024, fans, especially long-time ones, are having a great time with it. And while it’s a good remaster, a lot of players want to know whether it supports mods, HDR, super ultrawide, ultrawide, FSR 3, and DLSS.
PC continues to be a major player in the video game sphere and it’s unlikely that anything else is going to replace it. And one of the reasons why that is so is due to the plethora of features PC games offer, ranging from stuff like ray tracing to upscaling. And with Tomb Raider I-III Remastered being such a fresh release, it’s only evident that players would want to know if it has support for features like modding, HDR, ultrawide and super ultrawide, and even upscaling technologies such as FSR 3 and DLSS. So, let’s go ahead and find out all about that.
Tomb Raider I-III (1,2,3) Remastered Mod, HDR, Ultrawide (21:9), Super Ultrawide (32:9), AMD FSR 3 & DLSS Support Details
Tomb Raider Remastered fans can rest happy knowing that it has modding support from the get-go. At the time of publishing this, the NexusMods page of the game alone has a total of a hundred mods to enjoy and more are on the way. So, if you want to play the game with mods, you can certainly do so.
Besides modding, the game also has ultrawide and super ultrawide support. However, what it does not support is HDR. However, one player recommended using the autohdr_force tool as an alternative of sorts. Now, we can’t really say if this will work or not, since no other player has suggested so. However, you can always try the app and see for yourself whether it works or not.
Besides HDR, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered also doesn’t support upscaling technologies like the AMD FSR 3 and Nvidia DLSS. This may come as a disappointment to many who were looking forward to enjoying the game with this particular feature. However, the game isn’t really demanding at all, so you can play it at higher fps and resolutions without needing upscales like the FSR 3 and DLSS. Also, by the way, we don’t really think players will see Tomb Raider I-III Remastered get FSR 3 anytime soon. Only a handful of games happen to support FSR 3 and the game also isn’t on the list of games that have been announced to receive it later on. However, we would be sure to let our readers know if the developers do release currently unsupported features in the future.
Well, that’s all the information we have on this right now. Additionally, you can also take a quick look here, if you want to know whether Deep Rock Galactic Survivor also supports the same features too. And for more such content, keep following Android Gram.
