More than a billion people drive some sort of vehicle each day on roads. Road accidents are among the top reasons for unnatural deaths in the world today. The problem with road accidents is that you alone being careful doesn’t guarantee anything. Uncountable vehicles are on the roads each day. Sometimes the traffic may be more or less than normal depending upon several factors such as rush hours, weekdays or weekends, holidays, etc.
However, you are still at risk of meeting an accident. How can we reduce the chances of mishaps then? Well, we should all try individually to become better, careful, and responsible drivers. Most accidents happen due to rash driving, not following traffic rules, etc. Once we monitor our driving habits, we can correct them as well. The USAA SafePilot app is one of the must-have apps.
The USAA SafePilot app is one of the most important applications you can have at this point. The application is currently limited to USAA members and it motivates, instructs, and even rewards safe driving methods. The app monitors your actions and habits while driving, such as phone handling, braking, the way you drive, etc. Many a time though, the app may not work properly. It is understandable, given it is just another app and problems and glitches are common. Here are some fixes and workarounds to help you resolve the app-related problems easily.
USAA SafePilot App not working? Here are the simplest fixes and workarounds that users can try if they’re unable to use the app
1.) Make sure that the device you are using the USAA SafePilot app on has an active internet connection. The app needs an internet connection or Wi-Fi network to perform the basic app-related jobs and therefore won’t work in offline mode.
2.) Ensure that the app isn’t down temporarily. Check the app and software’s status and confirm if the app is under maintenance or if there is a server issue bothering all users. Wait for some time if this is indeed the case or contact customer support.
3.) Clear the app cache on your device. For this, you’ll need to go to “Settings” on your device and then tap “Apps”. Select the app from the list and tap “Clear Data” and “Clear Cache”. Now reopen the app and see if it is working fine.
4.) If you still continue to face issues with the app, you should try updating it. Updating the app resolves issues that may be occurring due to using an old or obsolete app version.
In case the app is still experiencing difficulties, uninstall it and then reinstall the application. Also read, ETS 2: How to Sleep?
