The banking services of the well-known financial institution Wells Fargo has been able to satisfy its customers up to a great extent. It has been named as the world’s most valuable bank brand in the year 2014 for the second time in The Banker and Brand Finance study of the top 500 banking brands. It has also been ranked in the 7th position at the Forbes Global 2000 list of the biggest public companies of the world and 27th rank in the Fortune 500 list of the largest companies at US in the year 2016. Wells Fargo was ranked as the 22nd most admired company of the world and the 7th most respected company of the world in the year 2015.
Since December 2018, Wells Fargo has a Standard & Poors credit rating of A- and for some time in 2007, it was the only bank that was rated AAA and reflected the highest credit rating from two firms. However, US Federal Reserve Bank barred it from increasing the US$2 trillion asset-base on the basis of years of misconduct and till they fix the internal issues to the satisfaction of Federal Reserve. Wells Fargo started to retreat from retail banking in Midwestern United States in the year 2018 and announced the sale of the physical bank branch locations in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio to Flagstar Bank.
The Wall Street Journal also reported in May 2018 that the business banking group of Wells Fargo had improperly altered documents related to business clients in 2017 and early 2018.
The banking services of Wells Fargo faces some errors at a point of time because of various reasons. Two of them are the OL-226 and OL-226 B. Users said that when they tried to download any transactions, make any transaction and set up online account services, they experienced this error. For those who don’t have a habit of using ATM services, net banking is the only option for them and these errors can seriously prove to be a major headache for those people. - Wait for one day and try the online session again.
- Check the extra detail that shows the nature of the online session failure.

(ii) Choose Online Update Summary.
(iii) Choose ‘More Info’ for extra information.
3. Update the Quicken software.
(i) Choose Online Menu.
(ii) Select One Step Update.
(iii) Deselect the checkboxes and click on Update Now button for getting the new software updates. If it is available, follow the on-screen instructions for installation and try the online session again.
