Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (ToTK) Ganon’s Horse Location: Where to find
Where to Find the Ganon Horse?
To find Ganon’s Horse, you need to start at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab, located in Hateno Village. Hateno Village is a popular village in BotW and the second village that you were supposed to go to according to the main quest of BotW. Anyway, start from Central Hyrule and head southeast towards the Necluda region. The Hateno Ancient Tech Lab is located to the east of the Hateno main village. Here are the coordinates for the Tech Lab: (3778, -2127, 0230).
Next, use your paraglider to glide to the peninsula located at the coordinates (4168, 2100, 0014). You’ll arrive at Hateno Bay. Alternatively, you can follow the winding road to the same coordinates at Hateno Bay. When you reach the location, you can see Ganon’s Horse in the distance, along with other horses. Identifying the Ganon’s Horse should be easy since it’s bigger than the other horses and has a charcoal-colored body with a vermilion-colored mane and tail.
How to tame the horse?
You can tame Ganon’s Horse the same way you tame any other horse. The catch here is that you need a giant pool of stamina to tame this horse. So it’s highly recommended that you fully upgrade your stamina pool to the max before proceeding to tame the horse. More specifically, you need just over two wheels of stamina. You can get additional wheels of stamina by consuming Endura Carrot recipes. We recommend preparing the Enduring Salt Grilled Prime Meat dish, which restores your heart and overfills your stamina by slightly more than one wheel. Once you are ready, equip any outfit that has the Stealth Up attribute. Next, consume the stamina-enhancing recipe that we talked about in the previous paragraph. Gently start approaching the giant Ganon’s Horse while crouched. That way, the horse won’t be aware of your presence. Only make sure that the horse is not facing you. When you’re close enough, mount the horse’s back.
Now the struggle begins. Rapidly tap the soothe button to tame the horse. Each time you soothe, a portion of your stamina will deplete. This goes on until a little over 2 wheels of stamina are depleted. After that, the horse will be tamed.
Register?
But don’t rest just yet. You need to take your newly acquired beast to the nearest stable to register it. The nearest stable from Hateno Bay is the Dueling Peaks Stable (1761, -1925, 0026). So, you need to ride to this stable and then register the horse to add it to your collection. Make sure not to get into a fight with any bosses along your journey, or else the horse might get killed.
