If your Google drive is not showing you all the files on your account, here are some tips to get you through the situation.
Google Drive is a great cloud storage service that helps you sync your files on various devices. As efficient as it is, no application or program is void of irregularities. The same goes for Google Drive as well. Irrespective of the device, if you use Google Drive regularly, you might have encountered this error several times. Users reported that they could not see all the files they uploaded on Google Drive. The library either loads partially or does not load at all. So, what can be done to solve this issue? The list of fixes mentioned below is your answer!
Fixes for Google Drive not showing all files:
1) Update application:
If you are facing this issue on the Google Drive app, updating it should be the first thing you do. Go to Play Store and navigate to My Apps and Games through Settings. Check if Google drive can be updated. Install the available updates and check if that solves the issue. If the files on Google Drive are still not showing, try the next step.

2) Update Browser:
If you are trying to access your drive through a browser, check if it can be updated. The information regarding any available updates is usually in the About section of that browser. Check if any update is due and install it. Once done, try to access your files in Google drive again. You should be able to see all the files that you have uploaded.
3) Log out of your account and log back in:
If updates don’t help your situation, logout of your Google drive account. Wait for some time and log back in. this can help if there are various ID’s signed in on the same device. Check if the Google drive files are now visible. If not, try the next fix.
4) Clear cache and browser history:
Clear the Google Drive app cache on your device. Just tap and hold the application icon. Select ‘App info‘ and tap on Clear app cache or Clear app data. launch the app on your device again and check if you can see the files. To delete the browser history, just click on the three dots on the upper right corner of the browser window. Select ‘History‘ and delete the browsing history and cookies saved on your browser.
5) Run as administrator:
For the desktop app, right-click the Drive icon and select Run as administrator. Sometimes the drive may not show you the uploaded files if you lack admin privileges. By running the application as administrator, you ensure that this issue is bypassed. After running the app as an administrator, check if the files are now visible.
