Dark Souls Remastered not full screen How to fix it

Fullscreen mode is a very convenient and most popular mode to play any game as it keeps the focus of the player entirely on the screen. However, it sometimes becomes difficult to access this mode due to technical and non-technical reasons. If you are also an active DSR player, you might be aware of various online reports where the players have stated display issues in the game. These issues are causing a lot of chaos and many are frustrated about it. If you also encountered a problem on your system where you were not able to run Dark Souls: Remastered on full screen and are looking for potential fixes, you are at the right place. With a help of some simple fixes, you might be able to enjoy the Dark Souls: Remastered experience in its entirety again.

If we talk about the conventional methods for entering fullscreen mode in any game, there are essentially two methods that ring bells in our minds. The first method is the one where we have to press the Alt+Enter key together. This method is compatible with many games and if you have not tried to use this method, you can use it now. All you have to do is open the game and press the Alt+ Enter key. This may help your game transition from Windowed mode to Fullscreen mode. However, this shortcut sadly does not work with some games. This is when the second method comes into play.

The second method that you might have a shot with is the F11 key. The F11 key generally comes into play when you have to enter the full-screen mode in your browser. Since the F11 key is associated with a full-screen option, you can use it in Dark Souls: Remastered too. You can open the game and try pressing the F11 key alone. If that does not work, you might as well try pressing the F11 key with the Fn button. However, these two are the basic solutions and if you have already tried them, we have a bunch of other fixes for you.

If you are still encountering this problem, you need to press the Esc button while in the game. Now, go to the main menu and then head over to the PC Settings in the System tab. From here, set the Display Mode to Full Screen. This will allow Dark Souls: Remastered to enter the full-screen mode on your system. Last but not the least, there were reports from several players where Team Viewer was found to be messing with the game. Therefore, you can try closing all Team Viewer services on your PC using Task Manager to get rid of this issue. Hope these solutions will put an end to this problem.
