Dead by Daylight is a thrilling multiplayer game of a new kind. Usually, there are 5 players in this game. One of them takes the role of a killer, and the other four become survivors. The killer hunts down the survivors for the ultimate sacrifice. The survivors have to survive the game, till the next day begins. Although as a killer you would have more power than the survivors, the survivors will also have plenty of balanced and witty tricks up their sleeves to fool you. Whoever you are, play to win the game to get the thrill.
Dead by Daylight: Bugs and what not!
Dead by Daylight was released in 2016 for Windows, 2017 for Xbox and Playstation, 2019 for Nintendo Switch and 2020 for mobile platforms. However, since recent times, the game started displaying bugs and glitches. Literally, hundreds of comments on Dead by Daylight’s twitter posts are about stuttering graphics, crashing issues, FPS drops and many more. The most significant problem was seen on consoles, especially the Nintendo Switch. The game kept crashing for Switch users rendering the game unplayable. This happened on a specific map: the Raccoon City Police Station map mostly.
If you think that’s going to make up for how buggy the game has been the past two weeks it’s not but one thing you can do for starters is make it so that the year five cake offerings stack the least you can do is let us get a shit ton of blood points

Crash issues crop up when there is a bug which causes the game to use more CPU space than usual. Sometimes, internal processes can cause a deadlock due to outdated drivers. These issues can usually be fixed with an update from the developers. However, monitoring the game for spotting bugs requires time and hence, putting out a patch which fixes everything in short time is just plain difficult!
Dead by Daylight: Recent update Hotfix 5.0.2
Dead by Daylight fans can now be happy since the new update Hotfix is here to fix major bugs. However, fans need to know that game crash issue has not been fixed entirely. The game may still crash on the Raccoon City Police Station map, but the developers have optimised the game in this update. It may not fix the crash issue, but will surely reduce it.
The developers also added in the patch note that they are constantly monitoring the performance of the said map in the game, and will come up with a working solution soon to fix the problems entirely. Here’s what the developers wanted you to know.
We have reduced the overall visual quality on Switch to help improve performance. The game may still crash when played on the Raccoon City Police Station map, but less frequently. Rest assured, we are still working on ensuring that the new map does not crash on this platform.
This update contains a few changes that should improve performance for many players. That said, some performance issues still remain. The team is still actively working on more fixes across multiple platforms, including consoles. We will be monitoring the changes made within this bugfix patch for stability.
Hope this article clears your doubts about the new update!
