The satisfaction you can get from killing hordes of ugly, blood-hungry creatures running at you is incredible. But, how can a video game like Back 4 Blood not have a proper full-screen mode? This comes after the ultrawide support disaster, where the visuals look extra zoomed. Why are the developers so negligent about basic features like these? We still don’t know.

basically you can switch from borderless to windowed but that gives a lot of input lag in my PC plus it runs better at full-screen. Also G-Sync has problems in borderless but it doesn’t in Full-screen. It should be an option, don’t know why it’s missing.
There are two view modes in Back 4 Blood: Windowed and Borderless Full-screen. The mode Borderless Full-screen has “Full-screen” in its name, but it isn’t the good old full-screen mode players want. But, why not add a proper full-screen mode too? It is said that Borderless Full-Screen modes may cause performance issues in video games. As per reports, Back 4 Blood faces input lag in Windowed Mode. Players are confused and annoyed about the developers’ decision of not adding a proper full-screen mode in Back 4 Blood. A player suggested a workaround for this situation. However, we don’t know whether it really improves the situation. But, we still recommend you try moving your taskbar to the bottom of your screen if it is on top. It may enhance the look and feel a bit.
We don’t know whether the developers will add a proper full-screen mode in the future. If not, we will have to make do with whatever modes they have added in Back 4 Blood. Considering the story, visuals, and audio, Back 4 Blood is a pretty decent game to play, especially after a long day. But, the absence of a full-screen mode is a complete deal-breaker.
