The recently released game, Bodycam, has made a remarkable entry into the FPS genre. Being marketed as the first-ever ultra-realistic game, its mostly positive reviews on Steam show that the developers have indeed managed to live up to expectations, even during its early access phase. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game is a visual treat and offers various multiplayer modes for players to dive into and spend hours on. The most popular game mode in Bodycam is Quick Play, where you can play and battle it out among random players on a server. However, as per recent reports, it seems that the Quick Play mode isn’t working as intended. So, if you too are encountering the same issue, here’s everything you need to know about fixing the problem.
Quick Play is basically an online matchmaking mode where the game places you in a random lobby among other players. But due to an unknown issue, the Quick Play mode isn’t working properly. Players have reported that once they select the Quick Play mode, the game loads up but immediately throws them back to the main menu, canceling the matchmaking. However, the private match option works. If you have a group of friends to play with, you can start a private match and enjoy the game. But if you want some Quick Play action, you will need to try some workarounds.

Bodycam Quick Play Not Working Issue: Is there any fix yet
As of now, there is no official fix or even an acknowledgement from the developers regarding this issue. So, for now, all you can do is try some workarounds, as they might be effective in getting rid of the problem. Here’s what you can do:
1) Restart the game
Well, a very simple yet effective solution to the problem is a quick restart of the game and then your PC. After this, launch the game, and then check if the Quick Play mode works.
2) Use Server Browser to enter a match
What the Quick Play mode actually does is place you on servers where the server capacity is not maxed out. But it is possible that the host is removing you from the server as soon as you join or that the lobby is actually full by the time you are joined in, which is why the game is loading you back into the main menu. So, if you continue to encounter the same thing, our recommendation is to access the Server browser, enter a lobby where the player count is 5–6, and then hit Join.
3) Host a Private Match
If you are unable to enter a lobby, it might be time to start a Private match and then wait for new players to join. Since you will be the host of the lobby, you will have complete control over it. But do remember that getting enough players to join the lobby will take time.
That said, for now, these are the workarounds you can try to fix the quick play not working issue in Bodycam. If you find this guide informative, consider visiting Android Gram for more such content.
