Call of Duty Vanguard

Looking for the steps to disable or turn off crossplay in Call of Duty Vanguard? Whether you are a PC or a console player, you may have your own set of reasons to switch crossplay off. Disabling the feature will not make any difference in your gameplay. However, it may decrease/increase competition depending on the servers you play on. If your servers usually don’t have enough Call of Duty players online at any point in time, we suggest you don’t disable crossplay to ensure normal matchmaking times. Read this article to know the process of disabling crossplay in the game (PC, Xbox, and PlayStation).

Call of Duty (COD) Vanguard: How to turn off or disable crossplay on PC, PlayStation & Xbox?

Call of Duty Vanguard is very multiplayer-friendly. If you have friends on the same platform as you, you can play multiplayer modes without crossplay too. Usually, it is easier to aim and shoot using a keyboard and mouse pair than a controller. To tackle this difference in performance, players who use controllers have access to a feature called Aim Assist. However, according to reports, Call of Duty Vanguard’s Aim Assist is not well balanced- very distracting and unfair against players on keyboards and mice. In that case, PC players can switch off crossplay to avoid getting matched with console players.

as a PC player I’ve turned off crossplay because the aim modifiers are bizzare in this game. I’ve had people in my lobbies strafe lock at ridiculous distances when I’m a literal pixel on their screen.

Worried about running into hackers in Call of Duty Vanguard? Unfortunately, shooter games will always be prone to such issues. However, if you are a console player, you can completely avoid hackers by turning off crossplay. Disabling crossplay can also improve connection or server issues as the player pool decreases.

To turn off crossplay in the game, simply open the Options/Settings menu from the lobby and navigate to the Account & Network tab. You will find the Crossplay option – disable (Off) it using the arrow keys. That’s it. If you start a game now, you will be only matched with players on the same platform as you.

I love to play video games and write about them. Food helps with my patience. I am a fan of comedy, and I am funny too (sometimes just angry).
