Lag or low FPS in Cultivation Tales or any game for that matter ruins the experience. Games are better when the video and audio quality are up to the mark. However, certain hardware limitations can give rise to a very jittery gaming session. If you want to fix the lag you experience when playing Cultivation Tales, take a look at the settings given below. You’ll be blown away by the performance boost.
Best settings for Cultivation Tales for High FPS and no input lag:
1) Tweak video settings:
Set the video settings according to the hardware installed on your system. If the lag is too much when you play Cultivation Tales, set the scalability to Medium or Low. Set the display mode to Fullscreen and resolution to the one that perfectly matches your display. You can also reduce the resolution scale value. Type in a smaller value than the one that is already set as a default. Run the game after every change in that value to find the sweet spot.
You should also consider limiting your frame rate to 90 FPS. This will help a lot in decreasing the lag in Cultivation Tales. Turn off the Dynamic Display for characters and weapons. Having this setting turned on can greatly contribute to the amount of lag in-game. Scroll down a bit in the video settings section to find the Texture, Foliage and Shadow quality. Lower the quality for the graphic card installed on your PC is not a beefy one. Also, disable Motion Blur and VSync. Make sure to click on save changes to apply the settings you chose. Restart the game to make everything run smoothly.

2) Change task manager settings:
After you make the changes in the in-game settings, leave the game running and open the task manager. To open the task manager, right-click the taskbar and select ‘Task manager’. Select the Processes tab in the Task Manager and click on the game process. Now go to details and select the ‘Tales of wild’ process and set its priority to high. This will also add to the boost in gameplay. You can also disable unnecessary apps from taking up CPU space at startup. Go to the startup tab in task manager and disable the apps that you want to stop from starting up. The change in settings up until now should be enough to give you a decent frame rate in Cultivation Tales.
3) Turn on Game mode:
Go to the settings on your Windows PC. On the left panel, click on Gaming and turn on the Gaming mode. This will prevent the background activities performed by Windows, giving you a boost in frame rate. However, the next few steps can help nail down all the pieces together. In the same window, select Graphics. Under Custom options for apps, select browse and locate the file for Cultivation Tales. When you select the file, you will be able to see ‘Options’ under the file name. Select it and click on High Performance. Save the settings and exit the window.
4) Settings for NVIDIA GPU:
If you own an Nvidia GPU, you can use the next few settings to further boost the performance of your hardware. Open GeForce experience and select Drivers. In General, enable Image scaling and select a lower render resolution. After that, right-click your desktop to open the Nvidia control panel. From the left panel, click on Manage 3D settings, then go to Program settings > Add > TalesofWild. After this step, make sure to disable Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering. Also, enable Low latency mode. This should be enough to give you a huge boost in the overall gaming performance in Cultivation Tales.
