Currently under the development prowess of Yellow Brick Games, an indie studio, Eternal Strands is an upcoming action-adventure game that has yet to receive a fixed release date. All we know for now is that the game is scheduled for a PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 release date, and that too in 2025. Well, Eternal Strands will be released as a single-player experience. This has been confirmed by the developers themselves. But is there a chance of multiplayer gameplay being added to the game? This is what many have been asking and to our surprise, the developers at Yellow Brick Games did respond to the query. However, the response is not what you’d have hoped.

When asked by a player about the availability of co-op in Eternal Strands, one of Yellow Brick Games’ developers responded with the following:
Single-player action-adventure! No co-op or multiplayer planned. 💛
This makes it clear that the team is currently not focusing on bringing multiplayer action into the game; rather, they are more into making the single-player experience flawless.
Is multiplayer mode possible in the future?
Well, in our opinion, a multiplayer mode in Eternal Strands is definitely a long shot. We don’t think it will be made available anytime soon. If the developers had thought of adding multiplayer elements to the game, they would have done so by now or may have said that they would look into it, considering the fact that there is almost a year left for the game to hit the global stores. However, their outright statement of no plans for co-op or multiplayer clearly states that it is not on their priority list. Well, after the game’s release, there is a slight chance that multiplayer gets added provided that there is enough demand for it. But this is just speculation from our side, so take it with a pinch of salt.
