1). Buy it from the Town Center
All you really need to do is head over to the Town Center, speak to Holly, and buy yourself the fertilizer you need. As we mentioned, there are multiple types so buy some of each type or choose which type you want to buy more stacks of. You can then bring this back to your farm and use it on your plants. These various types of fertilizer each have a different effect on your plants so make sure you use the correct type for the correct plant.
2). Craft it
Since there are multiple types, you will need to choose which one you want to make since they all cost resources. In every case, however, you are going to need a Garden Bench that you can use with the various resources needed to make your fertilizer. Once you have made the type you need, you can proceed with how you plan to fertilize your farm.
This is all the planning you will need to do with the fertilizer. Once you have planned this out, you can use it on the plant and they will be fertilized and ready to go. You can only fertilize them once though and this is important to keep in mind.

- Use this option and select the type of fertilizer you want to add.
