It has been some time since the release of Farming Simulator 25 and while the game is good and all, there still are some rough edges to deal with. That brings us to the Manure Heap issue that has been plaguing many in Farming Simulator 25. You too might be wondering if there are any fixes for it yet. Well, read till the end to find out.
Here is an issue with the manure system in Farming Simulator 25. When placing the correct manure heap extension (not the silo), it fills with manure as expected. However, after saving and exiting the game, the manure disappears, and the barn that was producing manure with straw no longer works, even though it continues to accept straw.

Farming Simulator 25 Manure Heap Issue: Is there any fix yet
Thankfully, we do have some good news! The developers responded to player reports on the official Giants forum. Here is what they had to say about the manure heap issue.
Dev’s response
According to the Giants QA Team, the problem stemmed from a fault in the linkage system for placeable objects like the manure heap on cowsheds. This issue has now been addressed, and a fix will be included in an upcoming update. Players experiencing this bug can expect the solution to roll out soon, restoring proper functionality to the manure production system. Now, while this update is in work, here are some player-suggested fixes that could help you get back to manure production without any issues.
Simple fix
To address the manure heap issue in Farming Simulator 25, one simple workaround is to start the game, then exit and restart it again. This process seems to reset certain game mechanics, and for some players, it resolves the problem. While not a guaranteed fix, it’s a quick and easy step to try and might fix the issues with the manure system.
Mod fix
The FS25_manureevacuator mod offers a workaround for the manure heap issue in Farming Simulator 25. To apply this fix, download the mod from here and place it in the mod folder located in the game’s directory in My Documents. Next, use a tool like WinZip to open the mod file and locate the ManureEvacuator.xml file. Open this XML file using a text editor like Notepad and scroll to the section that looks like this:
- <manureHeap node=”manureHeap” capacity=”400000″ isExtension=”false” >
- <loadingStation storageRadius=”10″ supportsExtension=”false”>
Change these two items from FALSE(false) to TRUE(true). It should look like this:
- <manureHeap node=”manureHeap” capacity=”400000″ isExtension=”true” >
- loadingStation storageRadius=”10″ supportsExtension=”true”>
Save the file and then open the game to check if this fixes the issue.
Verify/Reinstall
If all else fails, verifying the game files or reinstalling the game is a final option to fix the manure heap issue in Farming Simulator 25. Verify game files through Steam by right-clicking on the game, selecting Properties, and then going to the Installed Files tab. Now, select the Verify Game Files option. This will help repair any missing or corrupted files. If that doesn’t work, reinstalling the game is the last option you have.
