Have you ever felt that Fortnite isn’t running at its full potential on your PC even after having access to a decent GPU? If yes, then you are not alone as there are many players who have reported the same. In this article, we will be sharing details on how to fix the Fortnite not using full GPU capacity issue. Here’s everything you need to know.

A combination of a good CPU and GPU is required for a game to run at its full potential. But, there are times when the GPU utilization of the game is far lower than the CPU utilization which results in choppy performance, lags, and FPS drops. In Fortnite, many players have reported that their GPU usage stays under 10% while their CPU is at 99% which is a major concern. This usually happens with users who use a dual GPU setup- one integrated GPU and one dedicated GPU. If the game is launched via the Integrated GPU, it will not be able to fully utilize the resources as the dedicated GPU is staying idle. There are other reasons for this as well. Anyways, if you are facing the same, then don’t worry anymore as we are here to help you fix it for good.

4) Now, click the Add button and select the FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe file.
