1) Try restarting your game and your system/console.
Sometimes a simple restart can help get Forza Horizon 5 up and running. If restarting the game doesn’t work, try a full power cycle of your PC/Console.
2) Troubleshoot your network connection.
You may be facing an online session/server disconnect error due to an unstable internet connection. Check your internet speed and stability using this tool or any other tool of your liking. If you are unable to access stable internet, we recommend you try restarting your router (if using a wireless connection). Also, we recommend you try using a wired internet connection (Ethernet) as wired connections are always more stable. If you are still unable to connect to the internet, let your ISP know – they will help you troubleshoot further.

3) Check your system/console’s date, time, and region.
If you play Forza Horizon 5 on PC, you can easily check and set the correct date and time through Date & time settings. If on Xbox console, press the Xbox button on your controller to open Guide and then navigate to Profile & system > Settings > System. Here, you will find the settings to change the date, time, and region. Set the data correctly, if incorrect.
4) Make sure that you have updated the game to the latest version available.
Check the Updates page on your console or PC for any pending updates to the game. As developers release fix patches from time to time, it is important that you update Forza Horizon 5 to the latest version to experience better gameplay.
5) Check Xbox Live Services status.
