A decent number of people have already purchased the recently launch PlayStation 5 (PS5). Though most of the comments have been pretty positive, users are facing a huge problem with some games. When some people open a game, the game gets stuck at the loading screen, crashes, and then the screen displays error code CE-108255-1. A lot of people have been facing this issue, reportedly for the last 3-4 days.
So here is an easy way of bypassing this error code on PS5. Follow the instructions below to get rid of this PlayStation 5 problem-
Step 1-
Firstly, open Settings by clicking on the icon on the top-right corner of your homepage.
Step 2-
Now click on the Network options which is at no. 3 from the top.
Step 3-
When you do that, you will find two options where the second one is Settings again. Click to open a menu tab on the right side of the screen.
Step 4-
Now turn off the Connect to the Internet option by switching the toggle to the left.
Step 5-
Once the network connection is turned off, open the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War or any other game while opening which you’ve been seeing the error code CE-108255-1
Step 6-
Set-up your game mode or in the case of COD: Black Ops, enter any mode you are willing to, for example- Multiplayer.
Step 7-
Now before matching up or starting the game, go back to the main screen.
Step 8-
Open Settings > Network > Settings once again.
Step 9-
Now switch on the toggle (swipe right) to enable the internet connection once again.
Step 10-
Now get back to the game and start playing. In the case of COD: Black Ops Cold War, you can enter both online and offline modes without seeing the error code or any sort of game crash.
This trick has been working perfectly on the Call of Duty game. But the only problem is, some users are not able to invite their friends. And talking about other games, we hope this same process will work there too.
Do note that this is just a temporary solution. Developers have not officially addressed this issue yet. We can expect a fix in the next patch update. Till then, you will have to follow these same instructions every time you face a game crash after displaying the error code CE-108255-1
