Planning to download and play Ready or Not soon? You must try this game if you are a shooter game fan! Ready or Not released on December 18, 2021, as early access and the developers are not in a hurry to officially release the game either. According to VOID Interactive, Ready or Not will not be seeing an official release before December 2022. Being in early access, Ready or Not is not in a complete state; you will receive several updates over the upcoming months. These updates will mostly include improvements over what’s existing, but will also include heavy content updates. As of now, the game has received two content updates which added new modes, guns, maps, and other features. This may lead to you wondering how much space the game may take on your system. Don’t worry; as we are here to answer that for you!
Ready or Not is a first-person shooter video game relying heavily on tactical elements. You will be part of a SWAT police unit and handling dangerous situations, which includes shooting a lot of guns, arresting targets, and more. However, the most intriguing part of the game is its focus on realism. Targets (and you) are as sensitive to bullets as in real life. You will be facing a lot of “reality” in terms of physics. Further, the game features both multiplayer modes and a solo campaign. We would highly recommend trying this game, solely because of the “shooter” realism it brings to the plate.
How much storage would Ready or Not need on a system?
Ready or Not isn’t much demanding graphically; it shouldn’t eat up your CPU resources either. The recommended specs for Ready or Not states a fair 8 GB of RAM along with an Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB GPU and an AMD Ryzen 5-1600 / Intel Core i5-7600K CPU. But things can change later on when the game grows in terms of content or improves on graphics. There’s nothing much to predict for a game in early access, but the game will definitely grow in size in days to come.
The recommended storage for Ready or Not as of March 2022 is 50 GB, according to its Steam page. But the official page of Ready or Not states it to be 30 GB. It is possible that the official FAQ page hasn’t been updated yet. So, it is safe to keep 50 GB of space available for Ready or Not. Woah, that’s a lot of space requirement! The download size of the game will definitely be lesser than that.
