Steps to cancel Apple music subscription:
1) Through the website:
To cancel your Apple music subscription, visit music.apple.com and sign in with your credentials. Select the account icon on the page. This will open up a list of options for you. Go to Settings and select Subscriptions. Click on Manage and initiate a request to cancel your active subscription.
2) Through settings on your Apple device:
To cancel the subscription on a device like iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, open the Settings app. Tap on your profile and select Subscriptions. Select the Apple music subscription and select Cancel subscription. This method is exclusively for users with the appropriate device.
3) Through the Apple music app:
This method can be helpful for users who use Apple Music on their Android devices or other platforms like PC or PlayStation. To cancel the subscription on Apple music app, follow similar navigations as mentioned for the website. Select your Account icon > Settings > Subscriptions > Manage > Cancel subscription. If you have paid for the subscription via Google Pay, you can either choose to cancel it from the Apple Music app or visit play.google.com to cancel your subscription. Or, simply open Google Play Store, and navigate to Account Icon > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions. Now, tap on Remove under Apple Music.
According to Apple support, the process for subscription cancellation is slightly different for Germany, Israel, South Africa, and Turkey. Users can cancel their subscription with an immediate effect that is reflected by a proportionated refund. For users in other countries, the subscription will continue till the end of the current billing cycle and you will not be charged further. Users will have to contact Apple support to get their subscription cancelled immediately.
