How to change a connected Steam account from your FACEIT account?
If we log into our Face It account and visit settings, we notice that there is no particular option to directly change/delete the connected Steam account. There is a way to remove an account from Face It. However, to do that, the user will have to delete his/her Face It account to proceed. Read more to know.
The steps to do so:
- Submit a deletion request to the support for your FACEIT account. You can do that from here.
- After your account is deleted, your Steam account will be disconnected.
- You can make a new account of FACEIT, and link the account you want to.
Players link their Steam account to the FaceIt platform to seamlessly transfer game data to the latter. However, players may make mistakenly link the wrong account. There is no user-friendly way to delete the steam account at present. We hope FaceIt introduces a way in the future where players can easily disconnect a Steam account.
