Installing AltStore (Mac): Steps
- First, download AltServer for Mac from here.
- Once the download is done, copy AltServer.app to your Applications folder.
- Then, launch AltServer from its icon in the menu bar.
- You will have to connect your iPhone to your computer. Make sure the iPhone is unlocked.
- Tap on Trust when prompted on your iPhone and your computer to establish a connection.
- If you are on MojaveOS for Mac, open iTunes and enable iTunes Wi-Fi sync for your iPhone.
- If you are on CatalinaOS for Mac, open Finder and enable “Show this iPhone when on WiFi” for your phone.
- Once done, click the AltServer icon and then click on Install AltStore. Choose your phone.
- Enter your Apple ID email and password correctly.
- If you are installing AltServer for the first time, AltServer will ask you to install a Mail plug-in. Make sure you follow the instructions to continue.
- Voila! AltStore will be installed on your phone in just a few minutes.
Note before installing AltStore on your phone through Windows

Installing AltStore (Windows): Steps
- First, download AltServer for Windows from here.
- Then, extract the AltInstaller.zip file you just downloaded.
- Double-click on setup.exe.
- Do as the installation instructions say.
- Then, launch AltServer. You will find it as an icon in the Notification Area. Tap on it.
- Make sure you tap on Trust when your iPhone and computer prompts.
- Then, open iTunes and enable iTunes Wi-Fi sync for your iPhone.
- You will see an AltServer icon in the Notification Area. Click Install AltStore and then choose your phone.
- Enter your Apple ID email and password correctly.
- Voila! AltStore will be installed on your phone in just a few minutes.
