Read this article to know how to invite friends for a Guilty Gear Strive challenge.
How to invite friends and play against them in Guilty Gear Strive (2022)?
As mentioned before, there are two ways to invite friends for a duel. You can either challenge them from an Arcade Station or invite them to join a private room. Note that Guilty Gear Strive doesn’t support cross-platform between PC and consoles [yet], but supports cross-generation [PS4 vs PS5 can happen]. Here’s how you can play multiplayer –
Regional Parks
Regional Parks in Guilty Gear Strive lets you battle against strangers or friends, allowing an unlimited number of rematches. This is different compared to Ranked Tower, where only three rematches are allowed. Regional Parks allows seamless multiplayer, without having to worry about rankings/floors. To match up against a friend in a Park, make sure both of you join the same park. Next, meet each other in front of the Arcade Station. You can then choose to connect and wait for the 1v1 match to begin.
Private Lobby
For a private experience, you can simply open the main menu and select Network > Player Match > Create A Room. Choose the room settings according to how you want and once done, choose to Create Room. You will then be prompted to choose whether you want only Specific players to join your room. Choose Specific to receive a room code, which can then be shared with your friends. Only peeps with this room code can join your room. Private Lobbies allow up to nine players but four simultaneous battles.
