How to transfer PS5 videos to PC?
Through a USB
The first method is the easiest method and requires a USB drive formatted in an exFAT format. Generally, most USB drives have the format FAT32. So, you will be needing to re-format the FAT32 USB drive as exFAT. In order to do so, you will need to connect the USB drive to your PC. Now, right-click on the drive and select the Format option. After that, choose the format as exFAT. Once you convert the format of your USB drive to exFAT, you are good to go.
Now, all you need to do is plug in the USB drive to your PS5 and open the Media Library of your PS5. Following that, locate the file that you want to transfer to your PC. Scroll the options over that file and select the one that says “Copy to a USB device.” Now, once you plug in the device to your PC, you will be able to view your file on the PC itself.
Note: You can transfer the files in the FAT32 format of your USB drives. The only drawback is that you won’t be able to transfer files worth more than 4GB. So, if you are not willing to change the format of your USB drive, the best option is to trim the video file that you are trying to transfer. Trim the file so that its size reduces to 4GB and then initiate the transfer.
Through YouTube
There is another method that you can use to transfer the PS5 videos to your PC. However, to begin with, you will first need to have a YouTube account. Once you create a YouTube account, go to PS5 and link your YouTube. Now, go to the Media Gallery on your PlayStation and select the clip that you want to transfer. After that, choose the video and select “Share”. Now, select the YouTube option and upload the video to YouTube. You can download the videos that you upload from your creator account on YouTube. Also, keep in mind that this method can consume a lot of network data.
