If you haven’t updated IG on your device for a long time, you are asking for problems to plague the device. Updates bring better performance and better features to any app. Hence, open the store on your device and look for Instagram. Check under the app logo for a button that says ‘Update’. Tap on it to update IG to its latest version and fix the problems with the filters and effects.
4) Reinstall app:
If updating the app didn’t help, reinstall Instagram on your device. Delete or remove the app first and get rid of any residual files. Now install the app again and log in with your account. All the IG filters and effects should be working fine.
5) Contact support:
If none of the above solutions fix the problem for you, it is better to contact Instagram support. Contact their support group and notify them about this problem. They will be able to guide you through the issue efficiently.
