Fixes for the Instacart app not working:
1) Restart the app:
Before trying anything else, close the app completely. Remove it from the list of recently used apps on your device. This list can be accessed on mobile phones by running your thumb upwards on the screen and holding your thumb in the middle. When you remove the Instacart app from the recent apps list, it stops working in the background, shutting it off completely. Now restart the app and check if the problem you were facing with the app has gone away.
2) Check your internet connection:
Immediate attention should be directed toward your internet connection if the step above wasn’t helpful. Power cycle your router to reset the connection. After that, check if the app is working normally. If you use a cellular connection, toggle the Airplane Mode on and off.
3) Clear app cache:
Clearing the app cache will clear the corrupted cache files if there are any stored by the app. To clear the cache files on an iOS device, go to Settings > General > Storage > Instacart > Offload app. To do this on an Android device, tap and hold the app icon and select ‘Clear Cache’. After that, open the app to check if things have returned to normal.
4) Reinstall the app:
Uninstall the app from your device and perform a quick restart. Now install the app from the store again and log in with your credentials. Reinstalling the app will install the latest version of the app that will be void of any problems.
5) Contact support:
If none of the above troubleshooting steps helped you fix the Instacart app, try contacting their support team. To contact the Instacart support team, click here.
