Jurassic World Evolution 2-100

There was a time when the Sim City and Zoo Tycoon series ruled the gaming market. They were fun, and more than that, they offered infinite possibilities. Since then, players have wondered how it will be to manage a zoo, not with animals but with mysterious dinosaurs. Well, there is a game named Jurassic World Evolution that made it possible. This game was first released five years ago, and thanks to its growing community, the developer finally decided to release its sequel, Jurassic World Evolution 2, on November 9, 2021. The ultimate goal here is to protect everyone, from your visitors to your unique creatures. But do you know what makes all this good stuff look dull? Yes, it’s the annoying bugs. Now Jurassic World Evolution 2 has a persistent audio looping bug that is making the game unplayable for everyone. Let’s see if there is any fix or not, and if there is, how to utilize it to the fullest

Well, don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. In this article, we share with you some of the workarounds that fixed this persistent audio bug for the most part. What are you waiting for? Check it out now!

Jurassic World Evolution 2 Audio Looping Issue: Is there any fix yet

The audio loop bug in Jurassic World Evolution 2 has been a recurring issue. This bug loops the intro cutscene audio endlessly, making it the most annoying sound that you can hear while playing. Surprisingly, this bug didn’t exist in the first game, which makes it all the more interesting. This bug surfaced after the latest update, which came on June 8, 2023. There is no confirmation whether the developers updated the game’s music or audio level, which might have caused this issue. Anyway, since we don’t know what’s causing it, here are some workarounds you can try.

Delete the in-game Overlay Data

Raymysterio-1

This is the latest fix that was posted by a player named Raymysterio. It sounds similar to one of the WWE wrestlers, right? Well, he isn’t what you are thinking, but let’s move on to the actual fix. This workaround has fixed the audio loop issue for two more players. We don’t know the exact number of players who might have fixed their game with this, but here are the steps if you want to try it out.

  • Right-click on the Jurassic World Evolution 2 icon or game in your Steam library.
  • Click on Properties.
  • Now, click on General, and a list of options will emerge.
  • Here, find the in-game overlay data option and delete it.

You should also be aware that one of the developers, who goes by the username frontier_nebula, shared this fix. Since this came from the most trusted source, you should give it a try.

Check file integrity

The second part of the fix includes checking the file integrity for any missing or corrupt game assets. Follow these simple steps to ensure that the game is in tip-top condition.

  • First, go to the Steam Library.
  • Next, find Jurassic World Evolution 2 from the list of installed games, and right–click on it.
  • After this, select the Properties option, and go to the Local Files tab.
  • Here, you will find the Verify Integrity of Game Files option. Click on it, and let the scan begin.
  • After the scan is completed, launch the game, and check whether the issue persists.

Reduce Steam Music

Katsilas-1

This workaround was shared by a user named Katsilas. What he did was set the Steam music volume to zero. Later on, the process to do so was mentioned by another developer named Frontier Luna.

  • Open the Steam menu from your Steam client, which is usually present in your top left corner.
  • Now, click on Settings.
  • After this, click on the Music tab, and set the volume to Zero.

These are some of the workarounds to fix the annoying Audio Loop bug in Jurassic World Evolution 2. The first workaround should work for everyone, and if it doesn’t, then you can try the other two. It already seems like the developers of the game know about this bug, so a hotfix patch should be on its way.
