So, let’s start the long, expensive, but fun journey of unlocking everything in Jurassic World Evolution 2.
How to unlock all dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 2?
In Jurassic World Evolution, players had to play just the Campaign Mode to unlock all the dinosaurs in Sandbox mode. However, this mechanic has got a makeover in the newer Jurassic World Evolution 2. You cannot unlock all dinosaurs by playing the Campaign mode alone. As per reports, you will need to participate in the Challenge and Chaos Theory modes too. Certain dinosaurs can only be unlocked by completing Challenge and Chaos Theory modes.
To unlock dinosaurs, players will have to conduct Research and Expeditions on them. We recommend you complete the Campaign and Chaos Theory modes first. The campaign’s easy to complete and will get you started with the game. Completing the campaign missions and Chaos Theory will also unlock some dinosaurs, with which you can start playing the Sandbox mode. This will ensure a steady supply of income which is extremely important to conduct researches and expeditions in Jurassic World Evolution 2. Keep reading to know more details.

The Challenge mode is easier than all the other modes and is very research-friendly. To keep unlocking dinosaurs, you will need to conduct a lot of research and send scientists on expeditions. Start a Challenge game on Easy mode and build the following: Science Center, Expedition Center, and Hatchery. Now, visit the Science Center to start conducting Research. You will need to complete Challenge missions to unlock a few Research slots. As you complete researches, you will unlock dig sites.
Now, head over to the Expedition Center and open the Expedition Map to locate the dig sites. You will have to send scientists on expeditions to the available dig sites. They will locate fossils – you will have to process Fossils to extract DNA. Once you have enough DNA of a particular dinosaur, you will be able to synthesize one of them at the Hatchery. A synthesized dinosaur will be added to your collection in Jurassic World Evolution 2 and will simultaneously unlock it for Sandbox mode too. Sometimes, expeditions can get you live dinosaurs instead of fossils – make sure you send scientists who are qualified accordingly!
How to unlock structures and welfare in Jurassic World Evolution 2?
Like dinosaurs, you can unlock buildings and other items in the game by conducting research and expeditions. You can also unlock a few by completing specific missions.
The entire research-expedition-hatch process is extremely pricey and will require a steady source of in-game currency. As you can already understand, it will take a lot of time and grind to unlock all the dinosaurs in the collection. For more articles on Jurassic World Evolution 2, stay tuned to Androidgram!
