Characters are the main elements of a video game’s story. Most video games feature both male and female playable characters. However, some decide to focus more on the experience and story. Medieval Dynasty is one such video game where players can assume the role of a male protagonist, but there’s no female protagonist in the game. So… Are there any plans to make that possible? I dont think I would be able to get the level of immersion they’re promising if I’m playing as a dude.
Medieval Dynasty is a popular survival role-playing video game released in 2020. In the game, you will be taking the role of a young man who has managed to flee from war. The long-life ahead is just about survival. Everything depends on your skills as you start from a poor, helpless war refugee and grow into a leader of your community and the founder of a prosperous dynasty. Although the video game has a lot more to explore and experience, it is obvious that players would expect some form of variation in the gameplay. Playing one character all the time may be exhausting. The player base of Medieval Dynasty consists of a fair share of female players. Many of them said it would be more “immersive” if they could play as a female character. However, not everyone agrees with the above.
Loba ive played 600 hours of the game and as a female it hasnt bothered my immersoin at all. You do have to get married and have a wife but i just pretend shes in on the “ruse” of me being a male and have her go kidnapp an offspring for us. 🙂
Many female players have reported enjoying the game even as male characters. Although if a female player plays the female character, it will obviously be a lot more relatable. But, most of the player base is accustomed to a male character by now. That being said, is there actually any update from the developer about adding a female character? Well, yes. But, it isn’t a positive response.

In conclusion, Medieval Dynasty could do great with a female protagonist. But, the developers haven’t planned to add such a character as of now. In future? Well, we will have to see.
